Columbus Ohio

Columbus Ohio is an urban area. Many homes in downtown Columbus were built in the late 1800 to early 1900′s, with the exception of the newer high-rise condo’s that have recently started up in the downtown area, specifically in the Arena District and Grandview. Columbus is also home to the Blue Jackets Professional Hockey team and the Columbus Crew Professional Soccer team.

There are many inner city neighborhoods that offer up lots of charm, culture and easy commutes for professionals that work in the downtown and surrounding areas. Some of the more popular area’s include German Village, Clintonville, the Brewery District, Arena District Bexley, Grandview, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington, Italian Village, Short North and Victorian Village. They all have something different to offer, depending on what type of lifestyle your looking for.

However, If your single and looking for nightlife, The Arena District, German Village, Brewery District and most of the others have many restaurants and bars to suit the social butterfly. The arena District has Nationwide Arena which is home to the Columbus Blue Jackets and also has many other concerts and shows throughout the year. There is plenty to do if you live, work and play in downtown Columbus!
