Delaware Ohio
Delaware Ohio is just North of Columbus, in Southern Delaware County. It is an easy commute for anyone looking to live outside the Columbus area but yet still be close enough to enjoy the benefits. It is only about a 25 minute commute from the Northside of Columbus.

Delaware is a charming college town. It has been home to the Ohio Wesleyan University, a liberal arts university since 1842. Will the college town comes the same atmosphere. There are many shops and cafe’s lining the streets near the university.
The real estate market in Delaware is on the average side with home prices around 150K. The homes in this area are mostly older, renovated Victorian houses. However, if you’re looking for something newer, there are several builders that build in this area as well. The addition of some industrial parks in recent years has also allowed for employment in Delaware so that residents no longer have to commute to Columbus.
Delaware is also home of the Little Brown Jug, the annual horse racing event that has drawn people to it’s races every year since 1937.
